PROBLEM STATEMENT

The main problem in the elementary school of the Normal Higher School,  is that the great majority of its teachers,present difficult in teaching English with its four skill, w hich reduces the possibility of implementing the project for bilingualism in our institution and develop effective classroom practices,for which the For which the project focuses on learning English as a second language, from the earliest years of school life, from basic vocabularies with their respective phonetics, writing and grammar, through the use of ICTs.project focuses on learning English as a second language, from the earliest years of school life, from basic vocabularies with their respective phonetics, writing and grammar, through the use of ICTs.   

JUSTIFICATION

The MEN project " strengthening development of foreingn  language skills", has among other things, the purpose of  transforming classroom practices by motivating teachers to  use Information Technology and Communication Tics to  improve English skills.. As has been described in the problem, the greatest deficiency in developing communicative competence in English is precisely, not having enough teachers who can develop this activity. Also in this, the use of Tics is considered as valuable tools to initiate from an early age in the children and in teachers involved in the project, the process for the development of communicative skills. GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Implement the "Let's learn English in a funny way" classroom project to start at an early age in children and teachers involved, the development of motivating and innovative activities, To progressively acquire the command of English, through the use of Tics and the collaboration of students of higher grades, as a contribution to strengthening communicative competence in English.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

·  Using the Tics for the development of communicative skills in the area of English in students and teachers. ·   Constructing didactic material in conjunction with teachers and students of higher grades. ·   Carrying out the strengthening of the activities developed through the Tics and the collaboration of students of the Cicle of Complementary Formation . ·   Propitiating the development of skills for oral expression and written comprehension simultaneously. ·  Motivate children to learn English as a second language.

CONCEPTUAL APPROACH

PEDAGOGICAL APPROACH

The teaching of English in primary is based on the holistic approach  and the communicative method of the language, where the  learning of the English is promoted in an integrated and significant  environment for the boys and girls since the activities of the  classroom incorporate creativity and movement , Body and mind,  which will lead students to an effective communication of the  language. On the other hand, the use of new technologies applied to  teaching  and the clear influence of other disciplines such as  psychology, neuro-linguistics, or emotional learning, have allowed  to provide the most theoretical contents of a subject (in this case  English Phonetics) a more practical approach, with exits that allow  the student not only theorize about the course contents, but also,  apply this new knowledge to the world around them.
